LANDLORD
The renting out of property can be a good source
of income. However, if legal advice is not sought,
disagreements between a Landlord and Tenant can
arise.
As well as Tenants, Landlords have protected rights.
There are three principal areas where proper legal
advice is important to protect your income:
- When you are considering entering into a Tenancy
Agreement with your Tenant, it is important to
consider what type of tenancy is appropriate and
that the agreement covers all of the conditions
necessary
- A Landlord's duties to his Tenant and the actions
a Landlord can take to ensure that the Tenant
does not make a claim. Also, a Tenant's duties
to their Landlord
- Most commonly, where there are difficulties
in the Landlord and Tenant relationship, the action
you can take to remove the Tenant from the property,
or to make the Tenant comply with their tenancy
If you are experiencing problems relating to the
above or you are owed arrears of rent, nuisance
or anti-social behaviour problems, our Civil Litigation
Team is able to help.
