Sarah Ryan - A Helping Hand Through Troublesome Times
Knight Polson is pleased to congratulate Sarah Ryan who is
due to qualify as a Family Solicitor on 15th March this
year and will become a full time member of the Family
Department. Sarah, who may be better known to some as
Sarah Daish, originated from Dominy & Morrish
Solicitors prior to the firm being taken over by Knight Polson
in 2005. Sarah has worked in the Family Department at Knight
Polson for some 4 years and has been a trainee of the firm for
the last 18 months. Given her imminent qualification, Sarah
would like to introduce herself and highlight the services
which she and the family team can offer.
"I am really pleased to be starting my career as a qualified
Solicitor at Knight Polson Solicitors, and in particular
within the Family Department. I have studied on a part time
basis over the last 10 years obtaining a 2:1 in my Law Degree
and a Distinction in my Legal Practice Course. I am a local
girl with links to the community, and understand the pressures
of everyday family life.
The family team at Knight Polson are very caring and
compassionate, and between us we have a wealth of practicing
experience. We offer our clients a sympathetic and efficient
service, carefully guiding and catering for their specific
needs.
In the New Year it is common for couples, both married and
unmarried, to reassess their relationship and this often leads
to parties deciding to go their separate ways. This naturally
has an impact on not only the couple but also their families,
and we understand that this is an emotional time and good
solid advice and guidance is paramount.
It is reported that family solicitors had a surge in
Divorce enquiries before Christmas, which is traditionally the
busiest time of the year for them, and have predicted that the
number of Divorces will rocket in 2010 to unparalleled levels,
with January likely to be the busiest month.
It is thought that the Divorce rate will rise again this
year due to the recession which has already put added pressure
on struggling couples. Further, the current rise in property
prices may have an impact on Divorce rates as couples who have
decided to separate feel more confident about selling their
homes and splitting the equity.
At Knight Polson, we offer a wide range of family services
including Divorce and Dissolution of Civil Partnerships,
Financial Issues and Settlements, Contact and Residence,
Advice for the Unmarried Family and Single Parents, Domestic
Violence, Social Services Care Proceedings as well as Change
of Name Deeds.
We offer a Free First Appointment to all private clients
and so we would strongly advise that you optimise this
opportunity and have your questions answered enabling you to
make informed decisions."
