Work and Clients: Charles has brought to
Knight Polson vast experience in the area of Company
Law. He has acted on a major Private Finance Initiative
(PFI) for central government training, and other
PFI works; sale and purchase of companies and businesses;
acted on service and conference agreements for blue
chip companies; acted in connection with shareholder
and service agreements and directors' disputes;
arranged incorporation in various countries around
the world; arranged permissible tax avoidance schemes
for groups and reconstructions of companies; set
up special types of companies such as charities,
and drafted particular articles of association for
special needs.
Charles is the author and continuing editor of the
two volume loose leaf Company Precedents published
by Sweet & Maxwell. He also lectures and writes
articles on company law and related matters.
Outside work: When time allows, Charles
loves to travel, attend the opera, and is a passionate
follower of Formula 1 motor racing (but unfortunately
only as a spectator); all this and managing a family
too!
