Work and Clients: Alistair Wright joined the Criminal department at Knight & Co in the spring of 2001 as a solicitor and senior advocate, undertaking a full range of proceedings in both Magistrates and Crown Courts, from minor driving matters through to murder and high value drugs cases. He originally qualified as a barrister in 1992, undertaking both prosecution & defence work whilst working in Chambers in London. Alistair’s work is now predominantly concerned with the more serious Criminal Defence matters which are dealt with at Crown Courts. This can extend to cases being heard as far west as Bristol and as far east as Lewes, and even venturing north, as far as the Midlands. He also uses his experience to deal with Judicial Review matters.
